Don’t Bring Short To A Tall Fight.
It feels like things have been going 63,360 Inches a Minute! Jerry and I have been *ridicules* busy, it’s difficult to say where the time has gone! We’ve been meeting with tons of great people, getting going on breaking ground at PLYMOUTH, preparing for talks we’ve been invited to give, and planning a LOVELAND party trifecta (for more info on the talks and party trifecta check Jerry’s blog post here)!
I have been spending a lot of time making sure everyone gets their rewards from KICKSTARTER, and helping Incvestors login to their land…. So, if you’re wondering on the status of your reward or for some reason can’t get into the website, please, please, contact me at 734-552-2438 or mary[at]makeloveland[dot]com.
p.s. if you inchvested during the Ghost Inches Rounds expect to see your reward in the next week or so.
In other news, this week we *did* FINALLY take the mountain that was the house recycling back!

We also went to my mother’s 22nd 29th birthday party. It was not Jerry’s first visit to the Carter Family Home. However, at my Family’s house, you’re really not so much of a guest as you are a spectator, and Jerry handled all five of my siblings, their significants, both my parents, and my Grandmother, with class and tolerance (not an easy task, I assure you).
Also of note, my father marked Jerry’s height on the wall chart with the rest of the friends and family…. needless to say, my dear, sweet Giraffendork had the top height by at least a good 5 inches!

Jerry went back to New Jersey to spend Easter with his family, is now catching up with a few people in NYC, and will be back Thursday… I swear, for someone who hasn’t been on a plane in a decade, I can navigate an airport like no other (mother).
Speaking of which, it was a bit of event getting Jerry to the airport Saturday morning… Because Flint’s airport boasted the least expensive (and earliest [I was not a happy squirrel at 5:30am]) flight to New Jersey, we made the trek. And even though I drove at speeds that not only defied laws of the road, but of physics as well, he still missed his flight. Check-In at Flint did, however, tell Jerry that if we could beat the plane BACK to Detroit, he could get on it there…
So, here’s a picture of me, in my trademark Motor City Bad-@ss pose, racing an airplane from Flint to Detroit.

Stay tuned for more Inchventures in LOVELAND, and if you haven’t yet, inchvest!
