I Do Something.

Detroit Ice Squirrel and Motor City Bad Ass, cataloging the series of *somethings* I do.

Mar 9

Websites, frozen food, and migration.

Brainstorming with Jerry, is always a somewhat chaotic experience. Brainstorming with Jerry over the phone at 3 am, is just plain ridiculous. We’veĀ been talking a couple times a day, trying to keep track of where things are moving, keeping busy with a few projects, and running general *crowd control* (p.s. Inchvestors, you guys are awesome! Welcome and Thank You to the, as of current, 100 (OMG!) of you who have come in in the last 14 days!)

Last night, Jerry shared the new website. Our friend Larry Sheradon has done an awesome, awesome job. Inchvestors will be able to log in, edit profiles, link to things, and meet their neighbors! In case you’re interested in what awesome looks like, here it is:

One of the more funner things I’ve been messing around with is Detroit Ice Potatoes with “googly-eyes”. Jerry’s roommate, the amazing Matthew Hynes (who happens to be the custodian of the famous “Land-Owning-Ferrets”, Sly, Cosima, and Whipple.), had a great time with me the other night making DIPs.

Here he is with one:

We then decided to mess with more produce in the kitchen. Introducing: Detroit Ice Banana! (Most-Phallic-Fruit-In-Tha-Freezer! ;D)

I also had a chance to make one of my too few trips out to the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area for my friend Laura’s birthday party (who is btw, an amazing photographer, check her FLICKR). Here she is in all birthday-girl glory with Aaron Shaul (who looks alarmingly like “Prince Leer” from The Last Unicorn).

I have an early morning and a long day tomorrow, gonna hit LOVELAND’s studio at the Russel Industrial Center, hard. And then, zoom out to the airport to witness the completion of the great trans-continental migration of the Bearded Giraffendork!
