Snailings and House Hunting for Inchy.

Thursday was been super fun, exciting, and productive! After sending out a few emails and spending about a million years getting myself organized I finally got to the George W. Young post office at the intersection of Trumbull and Fort St. Where I had the opportunity to stand in line for about 20 minutes to buy the 3 stamps I still needed for the inchvestor snailings. And they’re off!

After, I jumped into my whip, lovingly referred to as the “Funzone”, and ventured into the Delray neighborhood armed with nothing but my cellphone, camera, personal knowledge of the city (thanks, Dad), and internal compass. (oh, and big thank you to my friends Chad Lee Williams for the text and Laura Goins for the photo)

On my way over to the potential Season 2 sites I stopped by the property originally intended for Season 1, that we lost at auction to Matty Moroun. Who has, no joke, hired a pack of stray dogs to run security. They declined to have their photo taken, and I, having seen an episode or two of “When Animals Attack” decided to wait in my car until they moved on.

There was one property I looked at today that was, in my mind, perfect. It’s tucked back into a subdivision with absolutely no street signs. So, if this place works out we’ll have to figure out something in the way of signage to get the inchvestors there. I loved it! Open space, mature trees, no immediate neighbors to bother, aaaand directly across the street from a community center, complete with nice new building, playground, baseball diamond, etc. I can’t wait for Jerry to get back from his adventures in San Fransisco so that I can share it with him.

So, here it is:

Here’s one neighbor:

And, another:

Aaaand, we would have our own driveway (or alley, whichever you prefer)!

More exciting stuffs coming soon!

Onward!

Love, Kisses, and Inches!
